A 30-year veteran of the theater, Soul Smacking Productions' h. Teirrah McNair is a multi-talented performer, writer, director and teacher who is well known for her comedic and dramatic performances. McNair's performances and Dramatic Arts Training Workshops have been conducted throughout the United States and Europe. Recently seen as story hungry reporter, Jeanne Cross-Battle on the CBS Television series Nash Bridges, McNair is much sought after for her one-woman productions, "Faith Walker", "Hiding Out", "Lucille Nadine Alexander Live" as well as for her dramatizations on obedience and forgiveness. She is also one-half of the hilarious duet know as "Rapping Granny" featuring marvelous Marva Brown.

Like the Bethune character she portrays, McNair is an avid believer in cultivating the gifts of children and is the director of the Children of the King Academy of Dramatic Arts, a professional acting training program under the auspices of Pastor Jean Ferguson and Abundant Life Christian Center in San Leandro, California. McNair's W.A.V.E. award-winning gospel comedy video entitled "Medicine for the Heart" was a featured film short at WYSIWYG's International Film Festival and is capturing the hearts of audiences everywhere. The video features the outrageously entertaining Mama Louie, the fictitious love child of Moms Mabley and Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong. According to the Oakland Tribune columnist Brenda Payton, "Mama Louie sings crazy songs, tells hilarious stories, dance, coos, warbles and fills the prescription for the most natural medicine--laughter". McNair is joined in this video by singing sensation, Rhonda Fields and virtuoso pianist Louis 'Doc' Hogan.
