Soul Smacking Productions is grateful for the abundance of superb musical talent at our home church and in the San Francisco Bay Area at large. We are especially thankful for that jewel of a talent known as God's Songbird, Minister Rhonda Fields, and also for the genius of Louis "Doc" Hogan, Dana Withers of G and D Productions and James Pugh of Maestro Productions. The Saints Engaged in Empowering Drama and the Children of the King Academy of Dramatic Arts are a part of Abundant Life's vision for using the performing arts as a kingdom building tool. Children of the King Academy of Dramatic Arts Children are the heart of Soul Smacking Productions and the Academy's Wednesday evening program for children 8-17 is designed to cultivate dramatic arts gifts while equipping children with biblical strategies for successful living. A weekend Christ Art Camp is offered August 15th and 16th in 2003. |
Marvelous Marva Brown is a professional actress/singer and a company member since 1999. Brown played the title role in the critically acclaimed San Francisco production of "Sweet Mickey's Revenge" and has performed in numerous productions for the Saints Engaged in Empowering Drama. An accomplished song writer, Brown is also a member of Joyful Noise Praise and Worship Team for Abundant Life Christian Center Fellowship in San Leandro, California. Brown co-facilitates the People Building Workshops and is 1/2 of Rapping Granny.
